Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM-4:30 PM Job Summary Flood Response is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager with a strong background in both construction and property restoration . This is a field-based position responsible for managing reconstruction projects from initial scope through final completion. The right candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, communicating directly with homeowners and insurance-related parties, coordinating trades and materials, controlling job costs, and making sure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard. This is not an entry-level project management position . We are looking for someone who understands construction, can identify what needs to be done in the field, and can take ownership of a project from start to finish. Responsibilities Inspect properties and develop clear, accurate scopes of work Review project scopes and estimates with customers and internal team members Build and manage project schedules from start through completion Coordinate employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and inspections Maintain consistent communication with homeowners throughout the project Monitor job progress, budgets, labor, materials, and overall profitability Identify additional work and properly document and manage change orders Maintain complete and accurate project documentation Ensure subcontractor work meets company quality standards Perform regular jobsite inspections and quality-control checks Ensure jobsites remain clean, organized, and professional Coordinate permits, inspections, and applicable compliance requirements Review invoices and project costs for accuracy Assist with billing and collection of project balances when necessary Identify problems early and take ownership of resolving them Deliver completed projects on time while maintaining customer satisfaction and company profit margins Required Experience 10+ years of construction experience, including significant project management responsibility — Required 3+ years of restoration/reconstruction experience — Required Strong working knowledge of residential construction and repair Experience managing subcontractors and multiple active projects Ability to read and understand construction scopes and estimates Strong customer-service and communication skills Strong organization, scheduling, and documentation skills Comfortable using computers, mobile applications, and project-management systems Valid driver's license Ability to pass required background screening Preferred Qualifications Insurance restoration experience Xactimate or estimating experience Water/fire damage reconstruction experience Experience working with insurance estimates and supplements Experience managing project budgets and gross-profit targets Work Environment This is primarily a field-based position and requires regular travel between active jobsites throughout the service area.Candidates must be comfortable with:
