Job Description
Shell Superintendent - GSD Florida, LLC GSD Florida is seeking a driven, dependable, and organized Shell Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of residential shell construction projects throughout the Bradenton/Sarasota area of Southwest Florida. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is looking to build a long-term career in construction operations and field leadership. The ideal candidate will work closely with crews, builders, vendors, subcontractors, and office staff to keep projects on schedule, maintain high-quality workmanship, and ensure a safe, productive job site. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate daily communication between field personnel, customers, subcontractors, and internal office teams Monitor job site materials and ensure necessary supplies are available when needed Conduct regular site evaluations to verify workmanship, progress, and overall project quality Ensure compliance with company safety standards and job site procedures Schedule and oversee required inspections throughout each phase of construction Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information in BuilderTrend, including schedules, timelines, and daily progress Track change orders and additional work to ensure accurate billing and collection Coordinate subcontractors and schedules to meet project and customer deadlines Attend and supervise all concrete pours on-site Assist with keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and operating efficiently Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred Qualifications Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced, high-production construction environment Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship Previous experience with shell construction or residential building processes preferred Self-motivated and eager to grow professionally within a rapidly expanding company Must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel between job locations Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 75 lbs with assistance to handle products, tools, and materials About GSD Florida GSD Florida is a family-oriented company committed to exceptional craftsmanship, strong customer relationships, and opportunities for employee growth.
