The team designs, builds, and furnishes outdoor spaces that unify architecture, landscape, water, fire, wellness, and lifestyle elements into cohesive experiences. Projects range from waterfront estates and rooftop pools to luxury residential towers and hospitality destinations. Clients include homeowners, architects, landscape architects, developers, hospitality groups, and estate managers who value a single partner for concept-to-completion delivery. CPS Outdoors is known for its collaborative approach, attention to detail, and commitment to extraordinary outdoor environments. Role Description The Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations on luxury outdoor living projects. This role coordinates and manages subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to CPS Outdoors' quality standards. The Superintendent monitors project progress, conducts site inspections, resolves on-site issues, and maintains clear communication with project managers, designers, and clients. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting plans, organizing work sequences, verifying materials and workmanship, documenting site activity, and enforcing safety and compliance requirements. The Superintendent also supports project closeout by managing punch lists and ensuring that completed outdoor environments meet design intent and client expectations. Qualifications Experience supervising construction or landscape construction projects, preferably in luxury residential, hospitality, or high-end outdoor environments. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications, with strong attention to detail and quality control. Proficiency in organizing schedules, coordinating trades, and managing subcontractors and vendors in the field. Knowledge of construction methods and materials related to outdoor spaces (hardscape, landscape, pools, water features, lighting, and site utilities). Commitment to jobsite safety, including familiarity with OSHA standards and best practices for safe field operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, designers, project managers, and field teams. Basic competency with digital tools for reporting, documentation, email, and project management (e.g., smartphones, tablets, construction software). Demonstrated ability to solve problems on-site, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing project needs. Prior superintendent or foreperson experience; experience in design-build environments is beneficial. Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in varying outdoor conditions; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
