Full-time, Direct Hire Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduling Manager to provide company-wide scheduling leadership, support, and oversight across active commercial construction projects. Based out of our Deerfield Beach office, this newly created position works closely with Preconstruction, Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams to develop, maintain, and manage accurate project schedules from preconstruction through project completion. No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Scheduling Oversight:
Partner with Preconstruction, PMs, and Superintendents to develop, review, and maintain project baseline schedules, 3-week look-aheads, and forecasts from precon to closeout.
Standards & Process:
Establish company-wide scheduling templates, procedures, and coding structures in MS Project/Primavera P6 to ensure consistent tracking across active builds.
Risk & Recovery:
Monitor critical path activities, analyze schedule variances, root-cause delays, and build actionable recovery plans to keep projects on schedule.
Team Collaboration & Training:
Serve as a hands-on resource for field and office teams, translating schedule data into actionable insights and training staff on best practices.
Executive Reporting:
Maintain portfolio-wide visibility, providing leadership with reports on KPIs, milestone performance, resource constraints, and potential bottlenecks.
Qualifications Experience:
5+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably with a commercial general contractor.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on expertise with MS Project, Primavera P6 (or similar), and advanced Excel skills.
Construction Knowledge:
strong understanding of CPM, sequencing, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and reading plans/specs.
Communication & Travel:
Excellent interpersonal skills to partner effectively with field and office personnel; willing to travel periodically for overnight job site visits.
