Role Description The Permit Coordinator is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing the permitting process for construction projects from initial application through final approval. Day-to-day tasks include preparing, submitting, and tracking permit applications, ensuring all documentation meets local, state, and federal requirements. This role coordinates with project managers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies to schedule and follow up on inspections and resolve permit-related issues. The Permit Coordinator maintains organized records, updates project stakeholders on permit status, and responds promptly to client and internal inquiries. The position requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Ability to effectively manage Permit Applications and Building Permits, including preparation, submission, and tracking. Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for working with clients, team members, and regulatory agencies. Experience coordinating Inspection activities and following up on inspection results and requirements. Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., MS Office, email, document management) and online permitting portals. High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Knowledge of construction or building processes and applicable codes or regulations is preferred. Previous experience in permitting, construction administration, or related roles is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in construction or administration are a plus. This position requires someone who can work independently, anticipate what needs attention, identify discrepancies, follow up on outstanding items, and maintain accountability for deadlines and financial records . This is a full-time, in-person opportunity based at our corporate headquarters, conveniently located near the Miramar / Miami Lakes area . Our standard office schedule offers two options: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday , with an early close at 3:00 PM every Friday .
