$2B+ secured project backlog National leader in hyperscale data center delivery About Our Client Our client is a rapidly expanding national electrical and MEP contractor delivering some of the largest hyperscale data centre projects across North America. With a multi-billion dollar project backlog, operations spanning multiple regions, and strong relationships with leading technology and cloud providers, the business has established itself as a major player in the mission critical construction market. Continued growth has created the need for experienced construction leaders capable of delivering complex data center projects. Job Description The Superintendent will lead all field operations related to the electrical scope of a hyperscale data centre project. The Superintendent will work closely with the General Contractor, owners, trade partners, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Lead and oversee all field execution activities associated with the electrical scope of hyperscale data centre construction projects. Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors, self-perform crews, vendors, and field personnel to achieve project milestones. Partner with the General Contractor and other trades to resolve site challenges, maintain schedule commitments, and ensure seamless project execution. Drive site safety, quality control, workforce planning, and productivity across all electrical construction activities. Coordinate installation activities with mechanical, structural, civil, and commissioning teams to support overall project objectives. Track progress against project schedules, identify potential risks, and implement recovery plans when required. Support testing, commissioning, turnover, and client handover activities to ensure successful project completion. The Successful Applicant Proven experience serving as a Superintendent on hyperscale data center, mission critical, or large-scale electrical construction projects. Strong background managing the full electrical scope of construction, including power distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and related critical infrastructure. Experience coordinating directly with General Contractors, owners, design teams, and multiple trade partners throughout project execution. Knowledge of sequencing electrical work alongside mechanical, civil, structural, and commissioning activities. Strong understanding of project schedules, workforce planning, site logistics, and productivity management. Experience supporting testing, energizing, commissioning, turnover, and client handover activities in mission critical environments. Ability to identify field conflicts, develop solutions, and drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders. Proven track record delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
