This position pays between: 50,000-65,000 annually Construction Coordinator Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Construction Coordinator to manage the day-to-day coordination of our pool installation, renovation, and remodeling projects. The Construction Coordinator serves as the central point of communication between our customers, construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping projects organized, properly scheduled, and moving forward efficiently while ensuring our customers are informed and supported throughout the entire build process. This is a fast-paced role ideal for a problem-solver who excels at communication, can manage multiple active projects simultaneously, and takes total ownership of getting things done.
Coordinate and maintain schedules for new pool builds, renovations, and remodels. Confirm availability for in-house crews and subcontractors, and adjust schedules quickly when delays occur.
Customer Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing proactive updates, explaining upcoming phases, and managing expectations.
Resource Management:
Coordinate equipment, materials, vendors, and required site inspections to ensure projects stay on schedule without operational bottlenecks.
Project Tracking:
Monitor each job from initial breakdown to final completion, ensuring required milestone steps are met before advancing to the next phase.
Proactive Problem-Solving:
Identify potential delays, missing materials, or scheduling conflicts early, working collaboratively with leadership to resolve issues before they impact the timeline.
Invoicing & Accounts Receivable:
Ensure customers are billed accurately according to project milestones. Follow up professionally regarding outstanding balances, collect payments when due, and partner with accounting to keep project finances aligned.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate project notes, schedules, and customer data within company systems (CRM / PM software). Communicate status updates and potential risks to management.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
2+ years of experience in construction coordination, project scheduling, home services, or a closely related field preferred (Pool industry experience is a plus, but not required).
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication with the confidence to interact professionally with customers, field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
Multi-Tasking & Organization:
Proven ability to manage numerous active projects and shifting schedules under pressure without letting details slip.
Financial Tact:
Comfortable holding professional conversations with customers regarding billing, invoices, and collection of milestone payments.
Software Proficiency:
Experience using scheduling, CRM, project management, and basic accounting software.
Problem-Solving Ability:
A proactive mindset—able to anticipate operational roadblocks rather than just reacting to them.
