Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Superintendent at Hand Construction's location in Shreveport, LA. The Superintendent will oversee daily onsite operations, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Other responsibilities include scheduling, monitoring project progress, managing on-site personnel, and resolving any issues that arise during construction. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and the ability to identify and mitigate potential challenges to maintain project timelines and budgets. Qualifications Proven ability to manage and supervise construction projects, ensuring compliance with timelines and safety protocols Strong skills in scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing subcontractors and on-site personnel Capability in construction-related problem-solving and managing project documentation Experience in maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to all applicable regulations Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders Proficiency in understanding blueprints, project plans, and construction drawings Previous experience in general contracting or construction management is required Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus OSHA certification or familiarity with safety regulations is highly beneficial
