About Our Client Our client is a well-established and financially stable general contractor with a long history of successful project delivery throughout New England. The company has built a reputation for employee retention, consistent growth, and a diverse portfolio of multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects. Job Description Lead all on-site construction activities for a $12M, 20-unit ground-up affordable housing development in Malden, MA. Provide day-to-day field leadership, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle. Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving field challenges. Utilize Procore to manage project documentation, communication, and field reporting. Collaborate closely with project management and executive leadership teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Report directly to the Vice President of Construction and serve as a lead field representative for the company. Potentially support future ground-up commercial projects as business needs evolve. Maintain a strong presence on-site; this is a fully in-office/field-based position. The Successful Applicant Must-Have Qualifications Experience as a Superintendent leading ground-up construction projects. Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, safety, and site management. Proficiency with Procore. Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades on-site. Must be located within the Greater Boston area. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of construction experience. Ground-up multifamily construction experience. Experience overseeing affordable housing or residential developments. Leadership experience managing large-scale projects and field teams.
