Landscape Superintendent Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Landscape Superintendent to oversee all aspects of landscaping and site work projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of landscape construction, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Manage daily site operations and coordinate all construction activities Supervise and direct landscape crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators Ensure all work meets project specifications, blueprints, and quality standards Monitor project schedules and budgets to maintain profitability and on-time completion Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce OSHA compliance and company safety protocols Perform quality inspections and address any deficiencies immediately Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and material logs Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and vendors Manage equipment maintenance and inventory Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in landscape construction management Proven experience supervising crews and managing multiple trades Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with construction scheduling Preferred Qualifications Experience with project estimation and bidding CPR/First Aid certification
