This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle-from pre-construction through close-out while ensuring strict compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings deep experience working with agencies such as USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, or DoD, and thrives in a highly structured, compliance-driven environment. job duties and responsibilities Lead planning, execution, and delivery of federal construction projects ($10M-$100M+) Project Leadership Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met Oversee all phases: pre-construction, procurement, construction, and closeout Government Contract Execution Ensure compliance and strong working knowledge of: FAR/DFAR, contract specifications, and federal requirements Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract modifications Support proposal efforts, including pricing, scheduling, and technical inputs Federal Contract Administration Construction scheduling and cost control Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, DoD and similar agencies Act as primary liaison with Contracting Officers (COs), CORs, and agency stakeholders Lead progress meetings, briefings, and performance reviews Maintain strong client relationships in a federal environment Cost, Schedule & Risk Management Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost controls Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Subcontractor & Team Management Oversee subcontractor procurement and performance Ensure adherence to contract, safety, and security requirements Mentor and lead project teams, engineers, and field staff Compliance, Safety & Quality Enforce
