Q3 Contracting is seeking an experienced and motivated Design Manager to join our team in Little Canada, MN . This role will support operations and design leadership in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects and contracts.
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and skilled in project management, communication, and process improvement.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Support operations & design management with the preparation and execution of multiple projects and contracts. Identify & communicate job dependencies, deliverables, deadlines, risks & critical path information. Assist in developing project plans and schedules that align with customer expectations and internal business objectives Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to scope, schedules, and deliverable requirements Provide problem solving support, change management assistance & risk mitigations strategies. Develop communication plans, prepare project reports, and facilitate stakeholder meetings to provide updates on project status, deliverables, scope changes, and risks Assist in the development and continuous improvement of project management methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices Coach mentor and train design staff in business analysis & project management practices. Performs additional duties as assigned by department leadershipRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Business Management, or a related field OR Minimum of five (5) years of strong project management experience or related industry experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and stakeholders Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership abilities Preferred Skills Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:Microsoft Project Excel PowerPoint Word Microsoft Project Excel PowerPoint Word Benefits and Compensation:
