This pivotal role demands a proactive leader who can manage multiple teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. As the driving force behind daily operations on-site, you will coordinate all phases of construction, enforce quality standards, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency and excellence. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and safety regulations will be instrumental in maintaining seamless project flow and exceeding client expectations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely. Develop, update, and monitor detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to keep projects on track. Review blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and feasibility before execution. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to interpret technical requirements and resolve on-site issues promptly. Enforce strict adherence to federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions. Manage procurement processes including reviewing contracts, overseeing construction estimating, budgeting, and cost control measures using HeavyBid or equivalent software. Oversee quality control procedures, ensuring all work complies with industry standards, specifications, and safety protocols. Supervise crew management activities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and maintaining a productive work environment. Utilize construction management software like ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication across teams. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, review construction schedules coordination, interpret technical drawings accurately, and address any discrepancies or delays. Requirements Proven experience managing large-scale commercial or infrastructure construction projects with a strong track record of supervising diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid; proficiency in scheduling tools is essential. Deep understanding of federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards; ability to implement comprehensive safety programs. Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, technical drawing review, and construction estimating. Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards; experience with budgeting tools is preferred. Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and managing teams in a construction management role; capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Construction site experience with a focus on supervision of crews; familiarity with managing subcontractors and vendors is required. Knowledge of construction regulations related to commercial projects; ability to interpret schematics and technical documents accurately. Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour Construction Safety Certification are highly desirable; relevant managerial certifications are a plus.
