This position is focused on overseeing wood framing projects for multifamily construction throughout the Southeast. This role is based out of Charlotte, NC with travel required to project sites. The ideal candidate is a strong, detail-oriented leader capable of day-to-day management of framing activities, coordinating crews and vendors, maintaining tight timelines, and enforcing top-tier quality and safety standards on site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage multiple framing crews on multifamily projects. Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with project plans, drawings, and specifications. Maintain quality standards and display strong attention to detail across all framing operations. Enforce and maintain safety compliance per OSHA and General Contractor standards on site. Manage project schedules with the ability to look ahead, anticipate challenges, and proactively resolve issues. Coordinate material procurement, orders, and deliveries with vendors to maintain uninterrupted production on site. Identify work outside the original scope and accurately track time and materials for change orders. Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, vendors, General Contractors, and subcontractors. Navigate digital construction management software to access project documents, drawings, and RFIs electronically.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent overseeing wood framing / rough carpentry projects. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills. Highly proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications. OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Basic computer and mobile device skills, with experience using electronic construction management software. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to project sites throughout NC, SC, and the Atlanta area.
