The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance on worksites such as highways, bridges, utilities, and other infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and labor to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion. Maintain project schedules, budgets, and monitor resource allocation. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures; conduct safety meetings and site inspections. Report project progress to senior management and resolve any field issues promptly. Ensure quality control and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Manage equipment, materials, and site logistics effectively. Engage with clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Proven track record managing complex projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, or large utility installations. Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Proficiency with project management software and MS Office Suite. Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience with multimillion-dollar projects and federally funded contracts. Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or PMP. Spanish language proficiency. Familiarity with GPS machine control and advanced construction technologies.
