Approximately $38.00-$41.00 per hour, depending on experience and engagement structure Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee a large-scale warehouse decommissioning and white-box return project in Ewing, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day field supervision of the project, coordinating approximately three to four subcontractors and ensuring that demolition, removal, utility disconnect, recycling, safety, quality and closeout activities are completed efficiently and in accordance with the project requirements. This is a temporary, full-time assignment expected to run for approximately six months. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily site operations and subcontractor performance Supervise demolition and removal activities Coordinate structural-steel and mezzanine removal Manage utility shutdowns and disconnects Coordinate waste removal, recycling and material disposal Maintain site safety and enforce project-specific safety requirements Conduct quality inspections and monitor workmanship Manage daily reports, progress photographs and site documentation Coordinate RFIs, field issues and scope clarifications Support short-term scheduling and project sequencing Liaise with project management, contractors, consultants and client representatives Manage punch-list and project closeout activities Ensure the site remains organized, secure and compliant throughout the assignment Required Experience Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, Site Superintendent or General Superintendent Demonstrated experience supporting or leading demolition activities Strong commercial, industrial or warehouse construction background Experience managing multiple subcontractors and field crews Knowledge of construction safety, quality control and site reporting Experience with RFIs, schedules, inspections and project documentation Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily site operations Comfortable working on site Monday to Friday for the full duration of the assignment Strongly Preferred Direct background with a demolition or decommissioning contractor Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial demolition projects Experience with structural-steel or mezzanine removal Experience coordinating utility shutdowns and building-system disconnects Experience managing waste, recycling and disposal processes Warehouse, manufacturing, industrial or logistics-facility experience OSHA 30 certification Engagement Structure The assignment may be available on a W-2, 1099 or corp-to-corp basis, subject to compliance and insurance approval.
