Stable project pipeline Leadership and growth opportunities About Our Client Our client is a growing general contractor and construction management firm based in Ridgewood, NJ that has been successfully delivering projects throughout New Jersey since the early 2000s. With a reputation for professionalism, transparency, and strong client relationships, they have built a diverse portfolio across multifamily, custom residential, and commercial construction sectors.
Job Description Site Supervision:
Lead all on-site construction activities for a ground-up 100+ unit multifamily project in Paterson, NJ.
Schedule Management:
Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Team Leadership:
Conduct daily site meetings and maintain strong communication with ownership, project management, and clients.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety requirements.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, RFIs, punch lists, and progress updates.
Quality Control:
Monitor project quality and ensure subcontractor performance meets company standards. The Successful Applicant 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up construction projects. Proven experience delivering wood-frame multifamily developments. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor management. Ability to maintain detailed project documentation and stay ahead of administrative responsibilities. Ability to lead teams, hold subcontractors accountable, and maintain project momentum.
