Construction Project Coordinator - Central Jersey

Opportunity for growth within a reputable Pharma Contractor Stable project pipeline About Our Client Our client is a well-established general contractor specializing in pharmaceutical and life sciences construction projects across the Tri-State area. Job Description Key Responsibilities Coordinate project documentation, schedules, and administrative workflows throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with permit applications, approvals, and tracking to ensure compliance with local regulations. Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records of project milestones and deliverables. Coordinate inspections, site visits, and communication between project stakeholders. Support project managers with reporting, meeting preparation, and project closeout activities. Collaborate closely with the accounting team on invoicing, billing, purchase orders, and payment tracking. Manage subcontractor and vendor documentation, including contracts, certificates of insurance, and compliance records. Ensure project files, logs, and records are organized and maintained accurately. Communicate project updates and provide administrative support to field and office teams. The Successful Applicant The Successful Candidate 3-5 years of experience in a Project Coordinator, Construction Coordinator, or similar role. Experience supporting commercial construction, pharmaceutical, life sciences, engineering, or related projects preferred. Strong understanding of project workflows, permitting processes, inspections, and construction documentation. Familiarity with project billing, invoicing, and coordination with accounting teams. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
