Industrial Superintendent - New Jersey

Job Description Key Responsibilities Lead daily field operations on industrial construction projects from mobilization through closeout. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Coordinate project activities with Project Managers, owners, engineers, and key stakeholders. Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Monitor productivity, manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, and inspections. Identify and resolve construction issues proactively to minimize project delays. Maintain quality control standards and ensure all work meets project specifications. Support project planning, sequencing, and logistics throughout the construction lifecycle. Travel throughout Northern New Jersey and surrounding project locations as required. The Successful Applicant The Successful Candidate Up to 10 years of experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Field Leader within industrial construction. Demonstrated tenure with reputable industrial contractors, EPC firms, or heavy industrial construction companies in the Tri-State area. Experience managing industrial, manufacturing, process plant, utility, power, energy, or similar construction projects. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Comprehensive knowledge of construction scheduling, safety practices, and field operations. Ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams. OSHA certification preferred. Must be commutable throughout Northern New Jersey and willing to travel between project sites as required.
