Job Description Construction Superintendent Lead day-to-day operations on multifamily residential construction sites. Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets. Coordinate with project stakeholders to monitor progress and address challenges. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Oversee procurement and delivery of materials for woodframe and new construction projects. Resolve on-site issues to maintain workflow efficiency and project timelines. Prepare and present progress reports to senior management. Maintain open communication with all team members to ensure project alignment. General knowledge of Building and Construction codes near Poughkeepsie and the surrounding area. The Successful Applicant A successful Construction Superintendent should have: Experience with multifamily residential construction projects. Projects up to $50M Knowledge of woodframe construction methods and materials. Strong leadership and communication skills for managing teams and subcontractors. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges effectively. Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance.
