Field Manager - Rose City Contracting, Inc | April 2026 Company Description Rose City Contracting, Inc. has been a trusted provider of professional asbestos, lead, and mold abatement services for over 30 years. Role Description We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Field Manager. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Wilsonville, OR. The Field Manager will oversee daily operations at project sites, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, manage project schedules and resources, and lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring a primarily Spanish speaking workforce of about 30 - 40 field workers, collaborating with clients and team members, maintaining detailed project records, and ensuring the timely and efficient completion of projects. Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in Project or Field Management.
  • High school diploma/GED or higher (required) | Associate degree or higher (Preferred)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (Required except in rare cases).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and motivate team members effectively.
  • Project management expertise, with skills in scheduling, resource allocation, and problem-solving to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Experience in the environmental or construction industry strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental remediation practices, including asbestos, lead, and mold abatement procedures, as well as safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in maintaining thorough documentation and records of project activities and compliance.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Must be able to obtain
OSHA/DEQ
training certifications as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. Responsibilities Supervise (6) to (8) asbestos/lead supervisors and (20) to (30) asbestos/lead workers. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Training
  • Mentoring
  • Directing
  • Reviewing performance
  • Addressing complaints and resolving disputes between employees.
  • Participating in disciplinary discussions with operations manager.
  • Manage projects from start to finish and work closely with all internal and external stakeholders (Customers, sub-contractors, consultants, vendors, etc.).
  • Work closely with logistics coordinator to create equipment and material orders/deliveries.
  • Manage and organize project data into project management database.
  • Create workorders, POs, assignments, etc…
  • Communicate daily and assist field team with project needs including pre and post photo logs.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to the operations manager.
  • Ensure that documentation is captured, reviewed and uploaded to the project file daily including preparing project close-out submittals.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the projects.
  • Support the importance of our safety culture, identifying any potential hazards, and communicating them back to the team to help establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.
  • If a responsibility or task needs to be completed, fill-in as needed depending on priority.
  • Above are the core responsibilities of the position as a Field Manager.
However, as we continue to build out our operations team, some roles and responsibilities may be adjusted at times. Work Environment This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
  • Sitting up to 8 hours a day
  • Traveling (driving) to jobsites throughout Oregon and Washington as needed.
  • Hauling equipment / trailers / materials, occasionally
  • Constant use of hands to type and write
  • Stand up to 8 hours a day
  • Lifting 50 pounds, occasionally
