Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
Construction Project Manager BAM Workforce Solutions is partnering with an established construction contractor specializing in infrastructure construction and maintenance for the power industry in search of a Construction Project Manager to join their team. This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced PM ready to take ownership of utility construction projects from the ground up. Overview:
Take full ownership of utility construction projects from kickoff through close-out, keeping work on schedule, within scope, and built to the highest quality standards. Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, attending weekly progress meetings and delivering daily project updates. Lead subcontractors and internal field crews, holding everyone accountable to safety standards and established project methodology. Coordinate with vendors, inspect incoming materials, and resolve quality issues without waiting to be told. Represent the company in community relations efforts and coordinate with local authorities to keep project impact to a minimum. Build and maintain project schedules, identify potential delays early, and drive solutions to keep jobs moving. Keep communication flowing clearly between clients, crews, vendors, and internal stakeholders at every stage of the project.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in construction project management. Bachelor's degree Strong organizational skills with experience managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation simultaneously. Comfortable being the face of the project for major clients and handling client communication at a high level. $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
