work/ life balance competitive benefits and salary About Our Client A well-established commercial construction management firm is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring high-quality project delivery from groundbreaking through closeout. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, extensive commercial construction experience, and a commitment to delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Job Description Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow. Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any delays or issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and addressing potential hazards. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders. Communicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve challenges. Oversee the quality of work to ensure it meets specified standards and client expectations. Manage the procurement and delivery of materials to keep projects on schedule. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have: 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction. Proven experience with healthcare, corporate, retail, hospitality, institutional, or similar commercial projects preferred. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and project sequencing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices. Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required. Open to local travel locations What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $110000 to $120000, depending on experience.
