Project Manager - Assistant - Construction

Overview Blue Haven Pools, the World's Largest Pool Builder, is looking for a construction project manager assistant (PM-Assistant) to join an established team in the Raleigh NC area. Blue Haven builds high-end custom swimming pools fulfilling many customers lifelong dreams. The PM-Assistant will work along side the project manager assisting them with various tasks during the construction of new pool builds. The ultimate goal of our PM-Assistants is to learn and develop the skills and demeanor to eventually step up into a future role in project management. The position is an on-site position with only a few hours a week spent at the corporate office located in Apex for meetings. Duties Conducts tasks relating to all phases of the pool installation process, adding photos and creating a daily log in our project management software and ensuring all inspections are completed. Conducts regular meetings with the Project Managers, Construction Manager and General Manager in order to review the progress of each assigned project and to discuss and resolve any outstanding issues. Ensures daily tasks lists given by the Construction Managers are completed timely and accurately. Conducts pre-site inspections prior to excavation on all construction projects to ensure that all aspects of the project have been identified and documented to reduce the possibility of installation issues. PM-Assistants are responsible for working with the construction crews at each stage of the project, guide the solution and only accept the highest quality result. Assure that records of all change orders are properly collected and maintained. Demonstrate utmost professionalism when visiting job sites and interacting with homeowners and vendors.

MUST BE LOCAL TO RALEIGH AREA

Company Truck Provided Preferred:

2+ years of construction/hardscape project manager experience a plus!
