This role is responsible for scheduling crews, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, communicating with customers, and ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and compliant with permitting requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicates clearly with both internal teams and clients.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Salary $50,000 + Commission (Dependent on experience) Company vehicle usage Cell Phone Stipend 401(k) with company match Paid Holidays Health, Dental, & Vision insurance Paid Time Off Duties Schedule and manage weekly work assignments for all crews (5-8 employees) Coordinate subcontractors, including painting, electrical, HVAC, drywall, plumbing, flooring, etc. Order and coordinate material deliveries with suppliers Communicate daily with customers regarding project progress, decisions, and material orders Oversee and track progress on 7-14 active projects at a time Prepare and provide regular project status updates for management and clients Monitor project costs and manage change orders, including sourcing cost-effective materials and coordinating with the Office Manager Ensure project drawings are completed accurately and submitted for permitting Schedule and coordinate required permit inspections Deliver materials to job sites as needed (must be able to lift 50-85 lbs) Skills Strong leadership skills with experience supervising diverse teams across multiple projects Strong problem-solving skills to keep projects on track and moving forward Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, negotiation, and documentation Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Budget awareness and cost-control experience, including managing change orders and vendor pricing Ability to coordinate and collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams Customer-focused mindset with professionalism in handling questions, concerns, and expectations Working knowledge of construction scheduling, permitting processes, and inspections Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and specifications Adaptability and sound decision-making skills in changing project conditions Proficiency with scheduling, project management, and office software Physical ability to assist with material handling and on-site coordination as needed Strong work ethic with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
