This position is responsible for overseeing all construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role manages field teams, schedules, subcontractors, and materials while working closely with company leadership to drive efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction. Duties Oversee all active remodeling projects from preconstruction through closeout Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations Establish and enforce construction standards, processes, and best practices Monitor project performance (costs, timelines, labor efficiency) and take corrective action Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality, safety, and progress Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and regulations Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards Identify and mitigate project risks proactively Serve as an escalation point for client issues and complex situations Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors Ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with sales and estimating during project development Provide input on constructability, scheduling, and cost-saving strategies Review scopes of work, contracts, and subcontractor bids Ensure smooth handoff from preconstruction to operations Partner with estimating on budgets, scopes, and project feasibility Review project budgets, change orders, and cost reports Ensure accurate forecasting and margin protection Identify and resolve cost overruns or inefficiencies Develop and refine construction processes, SOPs, and workflows Implement tools and systems to improve efficiency (e.g., scheduling, project management software) Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus residential/remodel. Strong knowledge of construction regulations and safety standard. Proficient with construction software, such as project management, estimating tools, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Bluebeam or equivalents. Skilled in blueprint reading, contract administration, project scheduling, and cost management techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
