Job Description

Job description: IVS Hydro, Inc. is looking for a Specialty Construction Project Manager that will oversee and manage our hydrodemolition and latex modified concrete material projects. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to drive successful project execution while optimizing financial performance.
Scope or Work:
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and compliance.
  • Quality Control in all areas of the operation
  • Mentor and develop superintendents, and foreman.
  • Contribute to the Division's Product Development and Innovation efforts to improve work execution and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot & Problem Solve
  • Assist in the management and scheduling of both men & equipment for existing projects.
  • Site visits. pre-construction meetings, etc. as necessary.
  • Understand Job costing, Equipment utilization and production/expense tracking on a job-by-job basis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, owners, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Gain valuable experience through "hands-on" field work with construction crews
  • Assist with the Recruitment and Development of additional CDL operators, laborers and staff.
  • Gain a working knowledge of all Equipment and supplies.
  • Manage ancillary items: water control, disposal, trucking, rentals, logistics, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to leadership.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction management (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and quality control measures.
  • Proficient in project management and/or construction accounting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
