Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure Safety is your #1 priority while on the premises and follow all safety rules, guidelines, and procedures while performing all job tasksSort window plant cutoffs by color, inspecting for non-grindable contaminatesSort lineal scrap materialsAssist with preventative maintenance of grinding equipmentOperate fork truck as neededOperate pallet jack as neededLoad and unload scrap trailersMaintain inventory systems accuracy (including basic math and data entry)Adhere to all SimEx Housekeeping standardsBe a contributing member of your crewAssist other SimEx departments when neededComplete any other tasks assigned by your SupervisorShift is currently Mon-Fri 6a - 2:30p, this is subject to change and could become a 2-2-3 schedule working 12 hour shifts.
QualificationsAbility to regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds without assistanceAbility to stand on concrete flooring for up to 12 hours a dayAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl if necessaryAbility to reach with hands and arms repetitivelyAbility to climb ladders and work at heightsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Day Shift Starting Pay $17/hrPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Recycling Associate to join our team in St Marys, WV.
