About the role:
Field-based across multiple Colorado hydro sites. We are looking for an experienced Construction Representative / Owner's Representative to support a portfolio of hydroelectric and heavy civil construction projects throughout Colorado. You will be the owner's field representative, providing oversight of construction activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule, environmental, and contract requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects. These projects involve dams, tunnels, hydroelectric facilities, underground construction, and heavy civil improvements. You will partner with project management, engineering, operations, safety, and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the owner's onsite representative for hydroelectric and heavy civil construction projects. Monitor contractor performance for compliance with project plans, specifications, permits, contracts, and safety requirements. Review daily work plans, construction schedules, and field activities. Conduct site inspections to verify skillfulness, quality standards, and contract compliance. Identify construction, quality, safety, and schedule concerns and communicate findings to project leadership. Provide oversight of concrete, excavation, underground, dam, tunnel, and heavy civil construction activities. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, safety professionals, operations personnel, and contractors. Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare daily construction reports. Participate in construction meetings, safety briefings, planning sessions, and team member discussions. Ensure work is performed following OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable project standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of construction supervision, construction management, field engineering, or owner's representative experience. Experience supporting heavy civil, infrastructure, industrial, mining, hydroelectric, dam, bridge, tunnel, or underground construction projects. Knowledge of construction methods, safety requirements, and contractor oversight.
