Job Description

CONSTRUCTION DRAW INSPECTOR
Fort Myers, Florida Type:

Per-Inspection Basis Location:
Fort Myers or Port Charlotte, Florida Compensation:
Flat fee per inspection (tiered by project size/scope) + mileage reimbursement for travel beyond base radius What You'll Do Briefly familiarize yourself with pay period's billings and provided site/floor plan plan prior to visit. Coordinate site visit with Superintendent. Take structured photos, keyed to specific site locations. Upload photos to file sharing system and email notes on a line item basis of construction progress between pay periods. Be available for short phone call to clarify any open questions. What We're Looking For Background in inspections, construction, and/or trades. Experience on commercial construction sites. Comfortable reading basic site / floor plans. Familiarity with phases for commercial construction (site work, building envelope, framing, MEP rough-ins, finishes) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites within your service area.
Own equipment:
safety gear (boots, hi-vis vest, hard hat), camera / smart phone for photos, laptop for note / photo submission
Bonus:
operates as an independent inspector/ trade worker who is looking to supplement existing employment Our Relationship Initially you will be engaged for one project, with one expected inspection per month until that project ends. Inspectors with professional approaches on our work project will receive opportunities for future engagements. You will be paid per completed inspection on a tiered flat-fee basis, based on project size and scope. Mileage reimbursement will be provided at the standard IRS rate for travel beyond a base radius from your location. You will invoice us directly upon completion of each inspection.
