Restoration Inspector /

Project Consultant Absolute Fire & Flood Restoration Greenville, SC Schedule:

Flexible / Field-Based Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor position with compensation based on completed services and additional commission opportunities.

Standard Property Inspection:

$150 per completed inspection

After-Hours Emergency/Mitigation Inspection:

$250 per inspection Equipment Setup +

Minor Demolition:

Additional $300

Tarp Installation:

$250 minimum Combined Inspection +

Tarp Installation:

$350 minimum

Sales Commission:

1% of total gross revenue on qualifying inspected jobs that you are directly responsible for securing

Referral Commission:

3% of total gross revenue on qualifying restoration, renovation, or roofing projects you directly refer to the Company Additional compensation is available for estimating based on project size. About the Role Absolute Fire & Flood Restoration is looking for a personable, dependable Restoration Inspector / Project Consultant to meet with homeowners and property owners following water, fire, mold, and other property damage. This is a field-based, customer-facing position. You'll be one of the first people our customers meet during what can be a stressful situation, so we're looking for someone who communicates well, builds trust quickly, and can confidently guide customers through the next steps. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, inspecting properties, documenting damage, communicating with customers and our internal team, and helping turn qualified inspections into restoration projects. What You'll Do Travel to residential and commercial properties throughout North Metro Atlanta Perform approximately 2-5 property inspections per week , with opportunity for increased volume Inspect and document water, fire, smoke, mold, and other property damage Take clear photos, measurements, notes, and other documentation needed by the restoration team Explain findings and recommended next steps to property owners in a clear, professional manner Build rapport and maintain communication with customers throughout the inspection and initial decision-making process Identify restoration opportunities and help qualified customers move forward with Absolute Fire & Flood Restoration Obtain signed authorizations/contracts when appropriate Communicate inspection findings and job details to project managers, estimators, and office staff Maintain organized and accurate inspection records Represent Absolute Fire & Flood Restoration professionally in customers' homes and businesses Maintain relationships with referral partners when appropriate Participate in training and team meetings Follow Company procedures for documentation, customer communication, safety, and job handoff What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Personable and confident meeting new people Professional, trustworthy, and dependable Comfortable having sales-oriented conversations without being overly aggressive Able to explain complicated situations in simple terms Organized and able to manage appointments independently Comfortable using a smartphone, taking photos, and completing digital documentation Able to recognize problems and think through solutions in the field Comfortable entering homes, businesses, crawlspaces, attics, and other areas as needed Able to safely use ladders and perform the physical requirements of property inspections Able to pass applicable driving and background requirements In possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Experience That Translates Well Experience in any of the following is a plus: Water/fire damage restoration Construction or remodeling Roofing Property inspections Insurance claims Adjusting Mitigation Home improvement sales HVAC, plumbing, or other home services Property management Field sales or customer service Restoration experience is not required for the right candidate. We value communication skills, reliability, judgment, and the ability to build trust with customers.

Compensation This position includes:

$30,000-$40,000 base compensation , depending on experience and expected inspection volume Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel Additional performance-based commission opportunities 1% of total gross job revenue on qualifying jobs where the Inspector performs the inspection, develops the customer relationship, and is directly responsible for securing the customer's signed authorization or contract to proceed with Absolute Fire & Flood Restoration Training and opportunity for increased responsibility and earning potential as inspection volume grows Commission eligibility is determined based on the Inspector's documented involvement in developing the customer relationship and securing the job, subject to Company approval and the applicable compensation plan.
