Paid per inspection (varies depending on type) Job Overview We are seeking dependable Mortgage Field Inspectors to complete property inspections for banks, mortgage companies, and insurance providers. This role involves visiting residential and commercial properties to verify occupancy, property condition, and posting notices when required. This is a flexible independent contractor position ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, driving locally, and earning income per completed inspection. Responsibilities Drive to assigned properties within your coverage area Conduct exterior property inspections Take clear photos of the property Verify occupancy status (occupied, vacant, abandoned) Complete inspection reports through a mobile app Post notices on properties when required Submit reports within the required timeframe (usually within 24 hours) Typical Inspection Types Occupancy verification Property condition reports Insurance loss inspections Vacancy checks Door knock inspections Notice postings Requirements Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Smartphone with camera and internet access Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines Basic computer and mobile app skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications Previous property inspection or real estate experience Experience with mortgage field services or property preservation Familiarity with inspection apps (Inspector ADE, Property Pres Wizard, etc.) Compensation Paid per inspection (varies on type) Inspectors typically complete 50 -100 inspections per week depending on availability and coverage area.
