2987662984-2 Apply for this job now Job Description MasTec seeks a Quality Inspector, EI&C to support energy and utility infrastructure projects. In this field-based role, you will inspect electrical, instrumentation, and control installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards. You will perform visual and functional tests, document findings, support root cause analysis, and verify corrective actions. Working closely with construction, engineering, and safety teams, you'll help deliver high-quality, reliable systems while upholding MasTec's culture of safety, integrity, and performance. Responsibilities Inspect electrical, instrumentation, and control (EI&C) installations for compliance with codes and project specifications Perform visual, functional, and acceptance testing of EI&C systems and components Review drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents to verify installation and configuration Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions in required reports Support root cause analysis and verification of corrective and preventive actions Coordinate with construction, engineering, and safety teams to resolve quality issues Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship meet quality and safety standards Participate in site safety practices and ensure adherence to Mas Tec's safety policies Required Skills Electrical inspection Instrumentation inspection Control systems knowledge Reading engineering drawings Quality assurance & QC procedures Non-destructive testing (NDT) basics Root cause analysis Construction safety standards Documentation & reporting Use of testing and measurement tools
