Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Boom Truck Operator to join our team. The Boom Operator is responsible for operating a boom truck cranes fixed cabs ranging from 17 Ton to 40 Ton and ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials while maintaining a high level of quality in their work. Full time or part time. Entry level to experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Compensation:

Excellent pay for qualified candidates; compensation depends on experience and performance.

• Must have NCCCO certification and CDL (Class A or B) with air brake endorsement

Duties:

• Operate boom truck cranes and spider cranes.
• Drive a commercial vehicle to and from job sites, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Manage and maintain the safety of the work site, including ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and secured.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and productive workflow.
• Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repair.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues to management.
• Participate in training and safety programs as required.
• Load and unload freight and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.
• Drive in a variety of environments, including rural and urban areas, and operate in different weather conditions.
• Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating boom trucks with fixed cabs and other heavy equipment.
• Experience with tractor-trailers and roll-off trucks.
• Experience with delivery driver duties and freight transport.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work in different environments and weather conditions.
• Must have NCCCO certification and CDL (Class A or B)
