Job Description

Material Handler / Warehouse Crane Operator (Day Shift) Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes while maintaining a thorough understanding of load capacities and operating limitations. Perform routine inspections of overhead cranes, saws, and other equipment, and accurately complete inspection reports. Read, interpret, and process order documentation to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Utilize measuring tools, including tape measures and micrometers, to verify material specifications. Accurately record material information, including heat numbers, storage locations, and any modifications to original orders. Operate banding equipment to properly secure materials for storage and shipment. Identify and apply color-coding systems to ensure materials are marked correctly. Maintain knowledge of warehouse inventory locations and properly restock incoming materials in designated storage areas. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safe walkways and workspaces. Ensure all material stacks are properly aligned, squared, and blocked to prevent accidents or injuries. Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and remain vigilant regarding the safety of coworkers and surrounding operations. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
