Driller Weld Operator Trainee Full-time | Temporary | On-site Hourly | Day Shift | $19.00 - $21.00 We are not currently working with third party agencies on this role.

Opportunity:
This position performs Drilling, Tapping, and some basic entry-level steel welding. Responsibilities Follows verbal and/or written job instructions. Learn to use dial calipers, protractors, squares, and other measuring instruments as required. Handle and stack parts in a way that ensures dimensional and cosmetic integrity. Develop increasing levels of welding skill. Maintain safe and organized work area. Learn how to read and properly interpret blueprints and weld callouts. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience Requires the ability to read and understand written documents.
Knowledge / Skills
Requires dexterity to work with basic welding tools. Requires the ability to read and understand written documents and verbal instructions. Basic arithmetic such as addition and subtraction. Most assigned tasks for this position may involve "Medium Work", however some may involve "Heavy Work" as defined below. The hiring authority may review the applicant's physical ability based on the specific tasks to be assigned.
Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Heavy Work:
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
