We're seeking a Driller Assistant to join our crew and support daily drilling operations. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour / 90 day evaluation period. CDL Drivers and/or Experienced Drillers will start at a higher pay.

What You'll Do:

Assist drillers with setting up and operating drilling rig. Perform Heavy Lifting Handling Steel Drill Rod and 24" / 36" steel pipe wrenches. Mixing drilling fluids. Operating drill rig sampling hammer w/ cathead by pulling rope repeatedly. Breaking or opening steel sampling spoons to collect and label soil samples. Carrying/ Moving Steel hollow stem augers that can weigh as much as 100 lbs. each. Cleaning up drilling location once completed to company standards (includes fixing fences, pavers, sod, sprinklers). Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles. Follow all safety procedures and company standards.

What We're Looking For:

Hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn. Previous experience working outdoors in physically demanding environments. Ability to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs.), carrying, bending, squatting and other manual labor tasks daily. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must have a Valid driver's license with a clean record (CDL a plus). Ability to travel occasionally. We work for government, military and schools, must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
