Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Crew Leader, Landscape to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will lead and supervise a crew responsible for delivering high-quality landscape maintenance, lawn care, and hardscaping construction projects. Your leadership will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and motivate a crew performing landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks. Oversee hardscaping construction projects including patio installation, retaining walls, and other hardscape features. Manage irrigation systems, ensuring proper installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to promote healthy plant growth. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance practices are followed. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and landscape tools safely and effectively. Coordinate outdoor work schedules, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines. Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport crew members and equipment between job sites. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during outdoor work activities to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, and maintenance logs. Support team development through training on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, horticulture or groundskeeping with a focus on outdoor work environments. Supervising or crew management experience in landscaping or related fields preferred. Strong knowledge of plant identification, tree care practices, irrigation management, and hardscape construction. Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment including mowers, trimmers, irrigation tools and landscape machinery safely. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required. Knowledge of safety regulations related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation. Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project execution and record keeping.
