Duties Operate directional drilling machinery with precision, adhering to project specifications and safety protocols Locate the directional drill head and facilitate a safe and effective bore hole. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of construction machinery, including mini excavators, directional drills, vac trailers, reel trailers Assist with excavation and construction grading tasks to prepare sites for utility installation Utilize utility locating tools to accurately identify underground utilities before drilling operations begin Maintain compliance with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and uphold safety standards throughout all phases of the project Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery including mini-excavators, ditch witch drills, vermeer drills, vac trailers, reel trailers Knowledge of construction utility work, excavation techniques, and construction grading processes Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and safe transportation of equipment Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and operation Construction site experience with an emphasis on utility installation or directional drilling projects preferred Ability to operate loader equipment safely and efficiently in various site conditions Excellent understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction grading Embark on a career where your skills make a tangible impact!
