Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to ensure smooth, professional results on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality craftsmanship that meets safety standards and client expectations. Duties Apply drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing techniques to create seamless wall surfaces. Repair damaged drywall and perform patching to restore surface integrity. Install drywall panels, metal stud framing, and perform related carpentry tasks such as door hanging and trim installation. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and secure drywall materials accurately. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to interpret project specifications. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols during all phases of work. Assist with plastering, stucco application, flooring installation, and other finishing tasks as needed. Skills Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and protocol adherence on job sites. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as knives, trowels, sanders, and caulking guns; proficient with power tools including drills and spray equipment. Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with experience in framing, metal stud framing, drywall texturing, and fixture installation. Knowledge of related trades such as carpentry, plumbing (including water damage restoration), masonry, remodeling, and painting enhances versatility. Excellent communication skills for understanding schematics and collaborating with team members on complex projects.
