In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in drywall installation and finishing, and contribute to the successful completion of construction initiatives. Responsibilities Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and screw guns Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation according to specifications Apply drywall mudding (joint compound) to seams, fasteners, and repairs for a seamless finish Tape joints, sand surfaces, and texture drywall for aesthetic appeal and durability Repair damaged drywall surfaces or existing installations with precision craftsmanship Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and adhere to safety protocols at all times Assist with metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and fixture installation as needed Other construction related activities as needed Requirements Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair within a construction environment Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction plans, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, knives, levels; power tools including drills and saws; and safety equipment Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Understanding of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent local safety protocols Experience with related trades such as carpentry, framing (metal or wood), plumbing (including water damage restoration), masonry or remodeling is a plus Ability to work efficiently on construction sites while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship in the building industry!
