About the Role MCI Elevator & Lifts has been proudly serving Arizona for four years and we're continuing to grow! We are seeking a hard-working, full-time Elevator Helper to join our Arizona team. You will be working as a team with an experienced mechanic, learning the trade hands-on. This position involves installing a variety of equipment including residential elevators, wheelchair lifts, and stair lifts. You'll also handle service calls and repair accessibility equipment, making a real difference in people's lives. MCI offers an AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) Approved Training Program to help you build your career in the elevator industry. This isn't just a job - it's a career! Key Responsibilities Learn to install, maintain and repair elevator systems ensuring compliance with safety standards Learn to interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on hydraulic and electrical components Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns Utilize basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations during installations Maintain organized records of service reports and inventory Attend training on and off hours

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Current driver's license with clean driving record General knowledge of tools Ability to lift 75lbs Self-starter with good organizational skills Basic math skills Must pass background check Dependable with good attendance record Reliable, honest, and trustworthy Construction experience

Preferred:

Ability to read basic drawings and electrical schematics Positive attitude and team player
