Role:

Alwon Electric Inc is looking for a motivated Electrician Helper to join our team in Chapel Hill, NC and the surrounding area! This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of the electrical trade, working alongside experienced electricians on exciting projects. Responsibilities:

Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems Pull wire, run conduit, and help with rough-in and trim-out work Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites Follow all safety protocols, NEC codes, and company guidelines Support electricians with residential electrical projects Learn and apply basic electrical concepts under the guidance of journeymen and master electricians

Requirements:

No prior electrical experience required, but 2 years of relevant experience in residential electrical work is preferred Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic Valid driver's license preferred Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions Punctual, dependable, and a team-oriented attitude
