Electrician - Temporary to Full-Time Gormley Electrics Inc. is looking to hire multiple experienced electricians for new construction projects throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas . These positions will initially be temporary, with the opportunity to become full-time permanent positions for the right people. We are specifically looking for electricians experienced in apartment rough-in and finish work who can work independently. Applicant Must Be Able To Completely rough-wire 1- and 2-bedroom apartments without assistance Complete electrical finish/trim of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments independently Install outlets, switches, lighting, vanity lights, ceiling fans, smoke/CO detectors, etc. Pull and identify home runs and properly label circuits Install and terminate apartment electrical panels Work with Romex and MC cable Perform basic fire alarm wiring Read and work from electrical plans Install 100A and 200A electrical services Have a basic working knowledge of the electrical code Work efficiently without constant supervision Requirements Previous electrical construction experience Experience wiring multi-family apartments Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to and from job sites Own hand tools and cordless drills/tools Able to reliably start work at 7:00

Based on experience and ability Most of our work consists of new construction and multi-family residential projects , along with commercial work and renovations. We are looking for electricians who can be given a 1- or 2-bedroom apartment, read the plans, and rough and finish the unit correctly without needing constant assistance or supervision . Strong performance during the temporary period can lead to a permanent full-time position with Gormley Electrics Inc.
