SecureLink LV Services LLC is hiring an Install Helper II for our traveling low-voltage and security installation crew. Position Type & Pay Project-Based 1099
Independent Contractor:
$18-$19/hour Weekly pay for hours worked on assigned projects Travel lodging provided Per diem provided while traveling This is a project-based position. Work and hours are based on available projects and are not guaranteed from week to week. Position Expectations This is not a zero-experience general labor position. Applicants should have previous low-voltage or related installation experience and be able to work productively with limited supervision after receiving instructions. Our Work Includes Commercial surveillance camera systems (CCTV) Access control systems Electric security fence systems Cat6 and other low-voltage cabling Cable pulling, routing, dressing, labeling, and terminating RJ45 terminations Mounting cameras, junction boxes, enclosures, and equipment Installing fence posts, insulators, hardware, and electric fence components Running and tensioning electric fence strands Basic conduit and Unistrut work Solar surveillance towers and poles Working from ladders, boom lifts, and scissor lifts Digging, concrete, trenching, and light construction associated with installations Install Helper II Should Be Able To Properly pull and route low-voltage cable Perform basic Cat6/RJ45 terminations Identify and use common low-voltage tools and materials Assist with CCTV and access control installations Assist with electric security fence installations Accurately measure, mark, and cut materials Follow wiring diagrams, site layouts, measurements, and instructions Use hand and power tools safely Work efficiently as part of an installation crew Complete assigned tasks without constant supervision Maintain a clean and organized work area Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Augers and digging equipment Digging and setting posts Concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing Measuring and cutting materials Trenching Conduit installation CCTV/camera installation Access control Electric security fence installation Boom lifts and scissor lifts Requirements Previous low-voltage or related installation experience required Must have steel-toe work boots Must be comfortable working from ladders and lifts Must be capable of outdoor and physical work Must be dependable and punctual Must be available for 100% travel Must be willing to work extended hours when projects require it Schedule This is 100% travel and project-based work. Project schedules and hours will vary depending on the job.
