Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, hard-working Apprentice / Entry-Level Electrician to join our team. No prior professional electrical experience is required—we are willing to train the right individual who brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and an eager desire to learn. Working directly alongside our experienced electricians, you will gain hands-on training in residential and light commercial electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and specialized hookups.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting Senior Electricians:
Support lead electricians on job sites with conduit bending, pulling wire, installing fixtures, box outlets, and setting up service equipment.
Job Site Preparation & Maintenance:
Transport tools, materials, and equipment; keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Learning Trades Skills:
Learn to read electrical blueprints, understand National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, and use trade tools safely and correctly.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all OSHA standards, company safety guidelines, and proper equipment protocols on every job.
Customer Interaction:
Maintain a professional and polite demeanor when interacting with clients on-site.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
No formal electrical experience required; prior experience in construction, hand tool usage, or vocational training is a plus.
Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for operating/traveling in company service vehicles).
Work Ethic & Mindset:
Reliable, punctual, eager to learn, and able to take direction well.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work comfortably on ladders/scaffolding, and handle physically demanding conditions (attics, crawl spaces, outdoors).
Tools:
Basic hand tools preferred (or willingness to obtain them upon hire).
