Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. In this role, you will perform residential and light commercial electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proud to deliver top-tier service to our local clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Upgrades:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, breaker panels, generator hookups, and specialized circuits.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostic Work:

Diagnose electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and implement safe, effective solutions.

Code & Safety Compliance:

Ensure all work meets or exceeds National Electrical Code (NEC) standards as well as local building codes and company safety policies.

Plan Reading:

Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, explaining service details and answering questions.

Teamwork:

Work independently or alongside team members and apprentices to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience in residential or commercial settings.

Technical Knowledge:

Solid understanding of NEC standards, electrical theory, tools, and safety protocols.

Driver's License:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for operating company service vehicles).

Physical Capability:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varied conditions (attics, crawl spaces, outdoor sites), and comfortably climb ladders.

Attributes:

Strong problem-solving skills, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
