Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our residential electrical team. In this vital role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in electrical work while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Your energetic approach and eagerness to learn will contribute to delivering exceptional service to our clients and supporting the successful completion of projects. Duties Assist licensed electricians with electrical system installation, wiring, conduit bending, and schematic reading on residential construction sites Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and ohmmeters Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance standards Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate wiring and system setup Follow electrical safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members Help with the installation of commercial electrical systems as needed, adhering to all safety protocols Maintain a clean work site by properly storing tools and disposing of debris in accordance with safety guidelines Skills Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician tasks is highly desirable Strong understanding of electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and conduit bending techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment Knowledge of electrical wiring practices for residential, commercial, and low/high voltage systems Ability to read technical schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and NEC compliance requirements Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence and working in dynamic environments Basic frame carpentry skills are a plus for supporting structural components during installations
