Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Service Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform comprehensive electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on residential electrical systems, including low voltage and high-voltage wiring. Install, repair, and upgrade electrical components such as outlets, switches, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, and panel boards in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 standards. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects. Conduct electrical wiring for renovations, new installations, or system upgrades while ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity. Follow all electrical safety procedures diligently to protect yourself and clients during every job. Collaborate with clients to assess their needs, explain solutions clearly, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven residential electrician experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems within homes. Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements for residential projects. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage systems such as alarm or data wiring is preferred. Construction site experience including renovation projects or new builds is advantageous. Knowledge of reading electrical blueprints and schematics accurately. Ability to work safely following all electrical safety procedures while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship.
