In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residental and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring and system installations. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes. Diagnose electrical issues through systematic troubleshooting procedures to identify faults in complex systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage circuits, and industrial control panels. Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures by adhering to OSHA standards and ensuring all work sites are safe for team members and visitors. Collaborate on renovation projects or new construction sites by installing wiring infrastructure, fixtures, switches, outlets, and other electrical components. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure ongoing operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures. Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately. Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices. Skilled in installing high-voltage wiring, low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial control panels. Proficiency with hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools including drills; and testing equipment like multimeters. Construction site experience including renovation projects or new builds is highly desirable. Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces while following all safety protocols. Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in NFPA 70 compliance are a plus.
